We’re nearing the end of our 3 week journey that has unofficially been dubbed the just happy to be here tour. The sentiment does wrap it up quite nicely – from the amazing support shown at our hometown kickoff, to breaking new ground and making new friends in Ontario towns, to playing rockin raucous house parties in Saskatoon, I’m just thrilled to be on the road doing what I love.

Sharing a band with Portage and Main has meant we’re just one big happy family (I even learned parts to fill in as their keyboard player for this trip), and I can’t wait to see where our journey’s take us next!

We’re excited to announce we’ll be visiting Vancouver island this January, to do a show in Victoria with our good friend Steph Macpherson at Lucky Bar! Then Steph will come join us and the ever lovely Ma Petit for a Sunday night show at the Railway Club here in Vancouver. Hope to see you out!

The Movember Mo-Off!

This marks the 2nd year that Redbird’s own Savannah Leigh is organizing the Movember Mo-Off, an initiative to support Movember Canada and raise funds and awareness for Men’s Health!

The Mo-Throw-Down will take place November 30th at the Biltmore Cabaret, with our friends The Matinee and Portage and Main! Complete with free beer, an epic mustache contest, an in-house barbershop and lots of prizes, it’s a night not to be missed!
